Acomplia

Acomplia (rimonabant) is a prescription anti-obesity agent that is usually recommended in combination with a healthy diet and exercise to achieve the result desired. It’s very important that you let your health care provider know about taking any of the following medications, no matter where you purchased them from: itraconazole, diabetes drugs, medicines to improve blood lipids, ketoconazole, clarithromycin, rifampicin, ritonavir, medicines for weight loss, depression medicines, nefazodone, telithromycin, or epilepsy medicines. There are a number of other medicines that have been reported to interact with Acomplia, and you can learn more about them by consulting your pharmacist or asking him for the patient information leaflet. While some Acomplia side effects are mild and short-lived there are symptoms that may indicate this medicine is not working right for you and the dose should be adjusted, or you will not be able to carry on with the treatment at all. Please make sure you call your doctor in case any of the following serious side effects occur: sleepiness, hallucinations, hiccups, panic symptoms, emotional disorder, night sweats, restlessness, or anger.
